Problems starting command prompt on cygwin on vista ultimate, problems not had on Win2k3SP2

Hi Vista gurus

We're using CYGWIN_NT-6.0 1.5.25(0.156/4/2)

We were successfully using it on Win2k3SP2 but on Vista ultimate it is not
working as previously.

When we start our application in the cygwin command prompt window, it is not
doing anything but just times out after awhile, terminating the process
started.

The cygwin is setup to use the inetd account with certain user rights that
we used on Win2k3SP2 successfully.

We wonder if on Vista we need to setup cygwin any differently in regards to
user rights and accounts, enironment variables, network access etc etc.?

Many thanks for any solutions, ideas, tests, workarounds etc.,

Vista is not Win 2K. If UAC is enabled, it's only looking at the rights of
user/admin and Standard user.
