Problems since XP update

On April 15th I ran and installed the newest updates for
XP. I have had nothing but trouble ever since and I
don't know how to undo the updates. Can anyone help?
Since the update I'm getting "critical" stops, some of my
programs are not responding correctly and somehow changes
were made which causes my initial boot on the computer
that causes my start up screen to act differently than it
did previously. I would appreciate it if someone could
explain to me what I need to do to "undo" the updates.

use add/remove programs. removing update KB835732 may
resolve 'issues' with your system. or do a system restore
to before the updates were loaded.xp automatically makes a
restore point before updates.
