I'm having problems shutting down Windows. Until recently everything was
working fine, whenever I shut down Windows or left it over night with an
application to shut it down for me (typically Nero), it would do so.
However, now when I shut it down or leave it to do so automatically it hangs
at the end. I get the:
Logging off...
Saving Yours settings...
Windows is shutting down...
messenge screens but it doesn't actually turn off the PC (it did do that!).
It gets to the final screen, Windows is shutting down..., and then after a
brief flurry of HD activity just sits there.
Can anyone tell me where I should look in any of the settings to check this
as its a real pain having to hold the power button to turn the PC off.
Thanks to all who can help.
