Hi, I recently transferred all of my applications (Easy
cd creator, Clone DVD, windows patches and various other
software onto another PC via a network connection and
since then, SOME of the .exe files icons have changed to
the standard windows icon and now when I double click on
them, they open a dos window then it closes again. It
hasn't affected all of my apps I transferred. Any help
would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. John

P.S Not sure if this is necessary but the PC I originally
transferred the apps from is using NTFS file system,
whereas the destination drive is using FAT32.

It sounds like you just copied the program files over. You have to
actually *install* the programs, usually from cd's or from an
installation program you saved on cd-r.

Hi, I have done this process before, I haven't installed
the apps onto the drive, they are just sat there ready to
be extracted. The funny thing is.. it's only happened to
some of them
