Problems receiving aol.com mail

I have set up the POP3 and the SMTP parts the way that aol has it set up and
it still tells me: The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'AOL
mail', Server: 'pop.aol.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

what do i need to change to be able to get this to work??
