Hello NG,
first: Sorry for my bad english
Now the Problem:
With my Windows XP Pro. SP1 PC I can't Print from old 16Bit Apps over a
Network Share. With Win2K and the same App. and the same Printer Shares,
there was no Problem.
The EventLog Shows the following Error:
Event ID: 61
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Print
Description: The document document_name owned by username failed to
print. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 63(0x3f)
When I map the Printer directly over the TCP/IP Printing Port it works fine.
The Share Name isn't to long (ex.: \\server\printer1 ) and under Win2k
it works.
The KB-Article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;810647
describes the Problem, but only for Win2K.
Can anybody help me?
Best regards
