Problems opening some web sites with IE 6.0 on Windows XP

I can not open some web sites that I use to visit all the time with my old WIN ME, like toondisney (my son loves it) or macromedia flash download or adobe.com....
I tried everything from download the last service packs to play with security config and cookies settings, but nothing really works. If anybody knows the solution or at least some tips to deal with it, please helpppppp!!!!!!!!!

check settings in internet options, those site like to
drop cookies, enable them, try to dl flash if you havn't
got it. check your pc for parasites, make sure you have
all security updates. or try another browser.
