problems opening downloaded 2000 ppt presentation in 2003 ppt

I have Windows XP- sp-2, I am trying to download ppt presentations that were
developed in Powerpoint 2000. I have downloaded them both zipped and had them
e-mailed to me- each time they won't open with a message that states a file
is missing. what now?

Start by opening PowerPoint 2003, going to the Help menu, choosing Check
for Updates, and following the instructions to install all updates
(particularly Service Pack 2). That should do it. If not, holler back.
