Problems installing Windows

I just set up a new rig. I installed Windows XP with SP2 now when Windows
starts I notice a bunch of things are missing. It has no Windows Media
Player, Help & Support is not accessible. It has no Network Connections set
up nor does it allow me to create a new Network Connection and some CDs won't
allow me to install things. Now I've tried reformatting and reinstalling
numerous times, I switched CD drives, and I installed Windows with the same
CD on a different computer (and that worked fine).
Does anyone have any tips on what I should do next?

Hello,

Windows Media Player may be located under Start > Programs > Accessories >
Entertainment/

As for Network connections, you will need to install the drivers that came
with your PC. Start with the chipset driver, graphics driver, sound driver,
network driver and the rest of the remaining devices.
