Problems Installing QFEs in XPE SP1 database

Thomas Heinrich

Hi All,
I tried to update my XPe SP1 database with the latest QFEs.
When calling e.g. Q823980_XPE_SP2_X86_ENU.exe which is the
RPC patch for this unlikely Blaster Worm, I got the following
QFE Installer Error:

A new platform object needs to be installed before this
update can be installed. Please download the latest platform
update from microsoft.com/embedded

I did not find this update !!!

I have checked weupdate.inf, it tells me about
MinimumDatabaseVersion=1507, which I have, and
MinimumPlatformRevision=1900.

In Database Manager I can see as only available platform
"Windows XP Embedded Clien (X86)[Version 5.1.2600,R1300]"

Any ideas ???

Best Regards,
Thomas Heinrich

This QFE requires Repository look-up may cause incorrect
files to be copied (Q811279) be installed prior to this
fix.

Thanx Keith for the offer, Pavel points me to the right
