Problems installing Nero 6

Hope someone can help. I recently downloaded a trial
version on Nero 6. Upon trying to install it I got an
error message that said that all my files were not current
and that I should upgrade from M$ upgrade site. It did not
tell me the files that needed to be upgraded or that files
were missing. I am crrently using a Win2K Pro computer. I
upgraded all the critical upgrades that M$ offered, but
still got the same error. Nero Support was no help;
hopefully some here can help.
