problems in links and popups

My IE6 is doing a very wired thing when i try to open a
link that is opened in a seperate window (specially
pictures links) , as when i press on the link the new
window opens but then it halts and doesnt load the pic ..
the window keeps on halting until i press stop and then i
press refresh ..then the pic is loaded correctly in the
new window .
i need to know why ie6 is doing that and how should i
overcome this problem.

Clean your Temporary Internet Files (Folder).
