problems Ghosting XP Pro with Ghost 2003

I am trying to ghost an xp image with ghost 2003, I'm using sysprep copied to
c drive folder \sysprep and included all delpoy.cab files from the xp cd. ran
the file, used mini setup, did a reseal ghosted the drive, moved over to new
pc loaded the imaged cd usded ghost boot diskette did a restore image, reboot
and the screen that comes up is "windows could not start because the
following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system

the pc that I am imaging from works fine

Are the pcs exactly the same?

Unless the hardware is an exact match to the one the image
was taken from, you will need to do a repair install.
