Problems getting passed security

I have made a database containing all of the booking records for my company,
however one of my employees, as we all use the admin account, has changed the
password under the "Tools, Security, User and Group account" section.

They can't remember the password and I have no way of resetting it as this
is the highest level of access there is. Is there a default password or a way
to find the password so I can type it in the old password box and then set a
new one?

If there is not a way of doing this, is there a way of copying all of the
tables, queries etc into a new database with no restrictions and no dirupting
any of the links, commands, macros etc between them?

Please help

Unless you are all using the same computer what you describe would only
require that HE enter the admin password to open the file. It would not
apply to anyone else.

Now...if what he actually did was properly apply User Level Security to the
file (which requires MUCH more that simply going into Tools, Security,
etc.), then yes you are pretty much screwed unless you obtain a utility for
breaking Access User Level Security.

Frankly, unless this person knew what they were doing, the odds of them
really locking you out completely are low. Most people that attempt ULS get
it wrong. Try importing all of the objects from the locked file into a new
blank file. If you can do that then he left a secutiy hole and that can be
your way out of the situation.
