problems during installatiion !!!!

i've been trying to install norton internet security a lot of times but
during the installation appears an error message and i can't finish. i've
tried all the different posible ways that are mention by the technical
support but i can't. i downloaded the windows installer 3.0 redistributable,
renamed and reinstalled it.
please help me

You're recieving an error message about Windows Installer? Or you're
recieving an error message about Norton Internet Security?

Do you think you could post the error message?
