Hello

I succesfully prepares an XPE image on a 200 MByte C: partition of my
harddisk.
If I after finalizing FBA reboot on my C: partition, my XPE image works OK.
If I - just after finishing the FBA without rebooting the system - copies my
image to my FLASH disk and reboot on this disk,
I get error messages:
1 - Windows cannot create a temporary profile directory ---
2 - Windows cannot load user's profile but has logged on with the default
profile
3 - Windows product activation error box.

Does anyone have an idea about why ?

Carl Johan Jensen,

When you say "just after finishing the FBA without rebooting the system", do you mean after you first time logged in to account you
use?
Then it is not a good practice to not provide a graceful shutdown/reboot to Windows (ExitWindows[Ex] needs to be called at least
once after a new profile created).

Why you don't want to reboot the system after FBA is finished?
If you want to minimize manual steps, add FBA empty generic command to the late FBA phase that has REBOOT property set to TRUE.

Hi Carl,

How do you copy your image to flash if you do not shutdown XPe? And without using second operating system for that.
Also if you use second OS then what do you mean by "If I - just after finishing the FBA without rebooting the system "

Regards,
Slobodan
