Hi wondering if anyone can help tried to boot my computer on my "d" drive
also have "c" drive i'm running win/xp home edition i got this error message
on boot up windows could not start because there is a file corrupt or
missing (system 32) but if i reboot from my master cd(win/xp) and enter
windows setup and press "r" for repair mode this might fix it i tried this
but when i click "r" it then asks me to type a number to identify which
drive i would like to repair i pressed number 2 to select d drive but
nothing happens after that i am a bit of a novice at this as i have never
encountered this problem before, i would be grateful if anyone can tell me
what to do next as i haven't a clue, thanks for any help in advance kind
regards George King .

Could you be a bit more specific. Are you saying you have a multiboot set
up with two operating systems on each partition? Did you set up the dual
boot via the windows installation or did you use a third party system such
as boot magic?
The boot sector is always on your c: drive even when you have an operating
system on your d: drive. The boot sector then tells the computer to go to
the d: drive to load the operating system. Have you tried a repair of your
c: drive?
