Problems adding Lexmark 1150

I am having trouble adding the printer/scanner/copier to
xp. It works when added until I shut down, then printing
works, but the system does not recognize the scanner.
Help!

I am having the same problem with Windows98. Also, after I've
uninstalled the drivers, I try to reinstall from the disk and the
computer says there's already a lexmark driver installed - do I want
to update the driver. First time, I said yes and nothing changes. I
used the add/remove program in Windows and "wipeinfo" from Norton. I
can't seem to get rid of some of the driver information even though
the program does not show up in program files.

Please email me with any assistance. Thanks.

By the way, although Lexmark support is live and free, they're
useless.
