Problems adding a video clip to my power point presentation, black

I have a video clip of 5 minutes that i created throug nero movie creation.
This video is compose of 3 little videos and music. I exported the file in
the format compatible with power point. I reduce my resolution, and I
reduced my path it was to long. But still my background is black. I already
read the troubleshooting from Power Point and i still don't find the answer.

Create a "test" folder in your C: Drive. Put the presentation and video in
that folder. Re-insert and see if it works.

If you go to Start|Run and type mplay32.exe, will your video file play in
that media player?
