adding video clip

When I try to add a video clip from my computer to a Power Point Slide
presentation all I get is the sound but no picture? I am using Microsoft
PowerPoint 2003. The video file has been saved as a .avi file. Duration of
video is 1m39s, size is 360MB. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!

I would first try putting video and ppt in a folder with a short path and
THEN insert the vid.

If this still won't work maybe run the avi through media encoderand try again
