problems accessing sites that work...

Hello,

I'm having problems to access sites that works... I know the problem is not
the site itself because I have no problem accessing it from other pc on the
same lan.

In some cases doing several, refreshes fix the situation...
I emptied cache but didn't help....

Seems to be something in IE... like the hosts file or similar... any clue?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
