Problem with XP + SP2 - Just 3 days BACK.

Hi ALL,

My System Configuration:

AMD Athlon 2500+
MSI K7N2 Delta Motherboard with nVIDIA nForce 2 Chipset
80 GB 7200 RPM HDD
256 MB DDR RAM - 300 FSB
MSI nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 - 8X AGP Display
CD-ROM and CD-W

I use Zone Alarm Firewall. Which is Correctly configured.

Earlier I was using Windows XP Prof. Then I have Upgraded to SP1. My system
was working fine. Then I have installed the SP2 (Network Install file). Then
also My system was working fine with out any problem or Slowdown.

But now it is Taking Longer to Boot and Display the Logon Screen since last
3 days.

Facts: Earlier it was taking arounf 45 to 55 Sec. Or Max Upto 1 Min to
Display the BOOT Window.
Not it is taking around 1:30 Secs. to display the Boot BOX.

Then I have Defragmented my HDD, Looked for any Spyware or Scan for any
Virus. But all that did not Helped.

So after all tries, I have performed a Clean Install of Windows XP with SP2
Slipstreamed in the XP Installation CD. But that also did not helped. Now
also it is taking the same time it was taking before I perform clean
Install.

I have checked the Drivers. I think all drivers are installed correctly.

Please Help to get rid of this. Or suggest shall I move back to SP1 again.
(But My PC was working fine with SP2 before 3 days.)

[I have also Posted the same in :
microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support]

Thanks
Prabhat
