Problem with XP Service Pack 2

My problem is consistent across a couple of different
installs of Service Pack 2. Prior to installing SP2 I am
able to add our Domain Groups as members of the local
computer groups. We have it set up so that the computers
use the domain user for local rights assignment. After
SP2 I can no longer add Domain Groups in to local
groups. I can add specific domain users, just not
groups. The MMC crashes and the entry in the application
log says, "Faulting application mmc.exe, version
5.1.2600.2180, faulting module netapi32.dll, version
5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00035bff." And is then
followed by this error message, "Faulting application
drwtsn32.exe, version 5.1.2600.0, faulting module
dbghelp.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address
0x0001295d."
These errors are the same across a couple of different
computers. If I uninstall SP2 everything works correctly
again.
We are using Novel Client 4.9 SP2 to access our Novell
Servers, but the problem persists even if Novell isn't
installed.
Any ideas???
Thanks!

Check KB884020 for applicability.

I don't see how that kb would be applicable. I'm not
having IP problems nor is it telling me access denied.
