Are there any issues i should adress before building a
new pc, and in doing so installing win XP on a serial ata
drive?
I am talking drivers, known probs.

Win xp pro on
asus p4p800
Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 200 gig SATA drive(only hdd)
CDR drive

The motherboard detects the drive as a 200 gig,
but when loading win XP from cdrom and setting a part. XP
says it is a 130 gig drive.

Thanks

Chris

The only "issues" you may encounter will be the result of not setting up
the correct hard drive parameters in your motherboard's BIOS.
