Problem with Windows XP

Hi...I just bought a system with XP. The system
automatically reboots when I am surfing on the web. I
use a cable modem. Any ideas?

Control Panel|SYSTEM|ADVANCED tab|STARTUP & RECOVERY
UNcheck the "automatically restart" box...

Then, when an error occurs, a message should appear, and you can begin

I would scan for virus's . Remeber to download the
latest update
