I think u mean a shortcut to CD.
If so, put any non-blank cd in drive, create shortcut,
then go into Prop & change icon 4 shortcut. It'll stay
even with nothing in cd drive, I think.
I did this with CF drive.

If everyone who posted jumped two months ahead to keep their name at the
top, these newsgroups would simply not work. Frankly, I would hope there was

You can filter "future" messages out using the provided filtering
ability of Outlook Express (which you're using). However, most users
who post "future" messages like the one you're referring to, probably
are not aware of it. Besides, not every newsreader will put future
messages at the top - mine (Agent) keeps it at the bottom of the pile.

In OE; Highlight the message, Shift + Del.
As to where they end up in the pile, in OE, depends on whether you sort by Ascending or
Descending.

his system date was wrong? Just tell him that his clock is wrong and ask
that he fix it. Don't just ASSume that he is doing it on purpose. Maybe

But as long as you're on that topic, then how would you like to be hammered
and slammed just because, for some unknown reason, your clock jumped ahead a
day. To you, it looks the same as the time is showing right. Not everyone
checks the date/time on their computer constantly to make sure it's 100%
accurate. Just tell the person to fix their clock and to repost as their
question will probably be ignored.
