Problem with shortcut

When I create a desktop shortcut to my CD drive which is
drive D and then when I action the shortcut I get a popup
saying (Problem with Shortcut The item 'D:\' that this
shortcut refers to has been changed or moved,so this
shortcut will no longer work properly). Can you please
assist me in resolving this problem. My DVD drive, drive
E has the same shortcut problem.

Hi Gassie,

This problem is caused by a Microsoft hotfix. Open Control Panel >
Add/Remove programs and uninstall the Microsoft
WindowsUpdate hotfix "821557"
