Problem with "Send to - Mail Recipient (as attachment)"

Im using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 server - when using Word 2003, Excel
2003 (and other non microsoft products) I try to use the FILE - SEND
TO...MAIL RECIPIENT AS ATTACHMENT feature and the following happens:

Message pops up like it should, I put in the recipient, the file is attached
and subject line is already entered - but when I hit SEND nothing
happens...the window doesn't do anything, no errors or nothing.

Any idea's?

Several of our users, including myself, are having the same problem. If we
check Sent Items, we see that the messages were sent. It seems that the email
message window is not closing after we click Send. Is this the case for you
as well?

Hi everyone,

I can confirm that this is a problem I am experiencing too. Same symptoms as
previously described and have not been able to find any resolution.

I also have a user that is expieriencing this same issue. Think a MVP could
help us out? I've searched everywhere, reinstalled office and still no luck.
HELP!!!
