Problem with scsi card or hd

I've a problem with scsi car or hd ... msdn article tell me
to try something like format, reduce scsi connection sync,
check termination etc.

All these things are ok ... I tried to reduce sync also ...
nothing to do.

I tried to clone then hd to another one, so to test if problems
are on the hd, problem is that os is w2003 server and after startup
on the logon procedure, it seem to start, but after a while it
logoff and show me the log in form again.

I suppose that there is connected to the new protection system
developed by Microsoft, but I cannot reinstall a server to see
if problems will be corrected.

What must I do?

Just if someone had been touched from the same problem.
My scsi card is an adaptec 29160 and the main hd is a quantum
atlas 17.8GB.

Hope someone can help me.

Sometimes it's the simple things...

A while back I had a problem with (I thought) mt SCSI card. It turned out to be
a power cable connector (Y connector) that was intermittent.

Check all your connectors, and reseat the card in the slot. Also make sure
there are no bent pins in the SCSI connectors.
