Hi,
Hardware :Silicon Motion : EM4+ chip, Software : XPe
w/SP1. System : Wireless Tablet, with XPe on Compact
Flash. Once I have installed the driver from SMI, the
screen rotation seems to be working fine as long as I
don't reboot it. Here is the problem: once I rotate the
screen 90 or 180 degree then reboot it ==> system will
only boot up until loading the SMI's icon (on the task bar
on the bottom of the screen) then freezed. The strange
thing is that if I repeat the about step, but rotate 270
degree instead of 90 degree ==> no problem.
I have also tried the same driver with our tablet using
HDD with XP Professional loaded ==> not problem with any
rotations.
In addition, I have also used a dependency check utility
on the above enviroments ==> no differences btn. them.
Any advise would be apriciated
Thanks,
Lawless
