When I select File/Save as, I get a dialogue box that
says "Save HTML Document" It has no places bar and the
only 2 save options are Web Page HTML only or Text File.
The dialogue box is supposed to say "Save Web Page" with
a places bar on the left and have 4 options to save as
type. The 2 above as well as "Web Page, Complete"
and "Web Archive". With GPedit you can remove these
options, but I have WinXP home and no GPedit, meaning I
didn't do this accidently, and can't find any registry
entry that may have caused this behaviour. It worked fine
at one time, although I can only estimate that to be 3-4
weeks ago, and now I get the dialogue box as noted above
instead of the "Save Web Page" dialogue box.

By continually searching, I discovered the problem was
due to a "BHO". The one in question was from PCMagazine
utilities called "web highlighter". I first disabled it
and the problem was solved after closing and opening I/E.
After that was proven as the culprit, I uninstalled it
and the problem is solved
