I had to do a recovery on my XP Home edition, and I cant
load the file called driver.cab, I keep getting the error
message that it is unable to copy it. Then when I try to
install my drivers, I get an error that the driver needs
the program ksuser.dll from Windows to complete the
installation. I dont have it either, so I have no sound
driver and thus no sound. Anyone know what I can do?

If all that you require are the drivers for your sound card, read your hardware user guide, or soundcard manual if these are 'whitebox' items and go to the manufacturer's site and download the files

If it is a brand name PC again go to their site for the drivers, but lookup the Model / Type of your PC.
