Problem with realevent.exe overloading my memory in process

My computers memory seems to be eaten up by a "process" called realevent.exe.
Under processes this program is listed many times. I do not know what this
does or how to remove it. Any ideas?

It's supposed to be part of the real one player. I removed mine a long time
ago and had no problems.
Just a note:
It seems to creep back when there are updates for real player.
