Hi,
I installed VirtualBox and the program often tells me, that the host memory is low. When I look into
the Task-Manager, the memory statistics tell me that almost all of my memory is used (Physical
Memory 512 MB, Available: 90 MB, System-Cache: 86 MB), but when I look at the process list,
the memory used by all processes together is about 120 MB. Kernel Memory 110 MB (86 MB swapped
out, 24 MB not swapped out), so I have 'used' 90 + 86 + 120 + 24 = 320 MB.
What's up with the rest? I would expect all the numbers together to be approx. 512, but 320 ist far
away from it.
I've tried to find a Program for Windows XP that shows me the memory usage in more detail, but I
havn't found any.
Can you give me a hint?
Thanks,
Christoph
