Problem with Profiles

Outlook 2003 on XPsrvpack2

I use outlook 2003 for my personal email, but I have also had to install
Groupwise 6.5 to manage my work email. To accomplish this, I have 2
profiles, one for outlook and one for groupwise. On my regular desktop
computer I have no problems, but on my laptop everytime I open Outlook 2003
and choose the Outlook profile, it opens, but then the Groupwise prompt also
comes up.Prompt for profile is also selected, there is no default profile.
I've gone into mail and made sure that it looks the same as my desktop but
it is still happening. Does anyone know what I'm missing here? It's
driving me crazy.

TIA for any help you might give me.

There *always* is a default profile, even if you have OUtlook set to prompt. It's the profile name you see selected under "always use this profile." What is that set to? Is this PC running any PDA sync software or other programs that could be starting Outlook automatically?

Thanks Sue
The default profile is set to "Prompt for profile" which it does. Problem
is, I select the Outlook profile and it connects to my exchange server, then
brings up the login box for my groupwise. It is in the Novell Default
Settings profiles. I made sure Exchange wasn't listed in the groupwise
profile.

My laptop has no PDA software and nothing else that I'm aware of. It's a
new system that I'm slowly getting configured.

I'm rather stumped.

Did you check the email account settings for that profile to make sure that Groupwise didn't sneak in?

There could also be some issue related to Groupwise: Does it have some setting to add itself to mail profiles automatically? That would be a question to pose in a Groupwise forum.

Thanks Sue
I've been through all the settings with a fine tooth comb and cannot find
anything that references Groupwise. I'll give their forums a check next.
