Problem with print spooling

When I try to print via a home network, I can print one
document, but every subsequent document "spools" in the
print manager indefinetly until I cancel the document and
restart the computer physically connected to the printer.
I've checked the knowledge base and the solution suggested
was to install the SNA server service pack 4.0. I can't
find out a) if this servic pack is compatible with Windows
2000 and b) if this will solve the problem.

If you can, please help.

Try setting printer properties to print direct to printer rather than
the default of spooling.
