Problem with( picture it! Photo 2002 software, Help please)

I use Microsoft Works 2002. I have installed CD1+CD3 Picture it! Photo 2002
every think looks normal when it comes to
opening the program to Start to work It is not working I click
to open a picture for me from my Picture Folder, a window
pops up and tells me this( Runtime Error!
Program:C:\Program Files\Microsoft Picture it! 2002\pip.exe

This application has requested the Rubtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information)
And close the program.
Does any one know why??
