My trouble : After updating of my PC, and reinstallation of Picture It 2002
Trying to open picture, I received the followed messge :
""
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Run time error !
C:/ProgramFiles/Micosoft Picture It 2002/pip.exe
abnormal program terminaison
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
""
AppName: pip.exe AppVer: 6.0.829.0 ModName: msvcr80.dll

I try PI19299 patch but version is not OK

Something blocked the normal running ?

My new configuration : Celeron 2.66 mhz 1.25 Go ram
Win XP Pro SP2 et ttes maj, AOL 9.0b,
Explorer 6.0 SP2 with AOL bar
Nvidia Gforce4 MX440 drivers 9.1.3.1
Modem speed touch usb 301 00 12...

One of your member suggest an exceed of memory ?

Thank you for your answer, I've already spend some hours on that problem.

The French version :
Problème de réinstallation Picture It depuis la suite Works Picture It 2002
=====================================================
Malgrés de nombreux essais de suppression et réinstallation complète, le
phénomène subsiste :
après tentative d'ouvrir une image :
""
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Run time error !
C:/ProgramFiles/Micosoft Picture It 2002/pip.exe
abnormal program terminaison
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
""
AppName: pip.exe AppVer: 6.0.829.0
ma nouvelle configuration : Celeron 2.66 mhz 1.25 Go ram
Win XP Pro SP2 et ttes maj, AOL 9.0b,
Explorer 6.0 SP2 with AOL bar
Nvidia Gforce4 MX440 drivers 9.1.3.1
Modem speed touch usb 301 00 12...

Merci pour votre aide, car j'ai déjà passé quelques heures sur le sujet...
