problem with outlook program

I have a problem sending and recieving e-mail on outlook.
This is the error message i recieve:

!Task 'incoming.vrizon.net-Sending and Recieving'reported
error(0x800CCC0F):'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I am running Microsoft Outlook 2002. Can you please help
me? Thank You

Hi, Jeremy -

Best to post Outlook questions in an Outlook group -
microsoft.public.outlook would be the best. This group is for Win2k issues.

Check your POP server settings carefully - does it really list
incoming.vrizon.net ? Should be verizon.
