Problem with Newsgroups

When replying to a post the original post usually shows up with a ">" symbol
and if more then one reply in that thread they have an extra ">" in them. eg
Now what is happening with Vista is that the quoting symbols are not
appearing in all threads and this is very annoying when trying to follow a
long thread.

Now I dont this is a problem just with Vista but it really has only happened
in the year or so

I am using Windows Mail and dont really want to move to different
mail/newsgroup software.

I think I've read that Windows Mail is unable to add the proper quoting
symbols to any newsgroup posts that are replies to a post sent in the
Quoted Printable format.

That is correct, and was a longstanding bug that also existed in OE.
It is one of many things that have been fixed in Windows Live Mail.
