Not recieving some newsgroup messages

In a newsgroup I frequent (alt home repair) there seems to be some messages
that are missing..For example...There is replies to a post but the original
post isn't there or replies that appear in the quoted section that don't
appeasr other than in the quote...I am running Windows Vista Home Premeum
with Windows Live Mail on a HP....Thanks for any help...

In Windows Mail, go to Tools, Options, Read, uncheck "Get 300 headers
at a time".

There are other reasons for missing posts. Some are just too old, which is
affected by that particular news server's retention policy. For example, the
Microsoft news server to which I'm posting retains posts for only 90 days.
