Problem with my video card?

I am a first time forum user.I am having problems with the game Need fo
speed Carbon.
I am told that my video card is out of date and that i need to buy
new one. My video card is Nvidia Geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8x. Ca
anybody tell me if this is true? Thanks alot.

If all the drivers/software are up to date,plus you have descent ram memory
installed (min 512mb),go to run type:DXDIAG Run the Direct X utility
tests...

Thanks for the reply Andrew E. I ran all tests. No problem. I have 76
MB RAM. The game can run but the graphics are horrible. Everything i
squared.... So, is it my graphic card the problem? HELP!!

Did you check the nVidia site for updated drivers?

The release notes state that your card is supported:

Look on the box that the game came in and see what the minimum
specifications for the PC are. Does your PC meet or exceed those specs?
