Problem with my Contacts

John

Hi Everyone
My Contacts folder is in "C:\Users\(user name)" but when I type a new e.mail and
I press on "To" to select recipients, the menu is empty.
If I type a new name, the menu stays empty but the new name is built in the
Contact folder.
In my main "Mail" menu, if I press on the Contact icon, my list is all there.
Can anyone help me
Thanking you in advance.
John

Hi Gary
Sorry to take so long to reply, I was out.
I installed Windows Live, but it's still the same way.
If you can think of anything I can try, please let me know, I would appreciate
it verymuch.
Thanks again for your effort.
Regards
John
I have no idea why it is doing that, but one fix is to
upgrade to the less buggy Windows Live Mail program:

http://download.live.com/wlmail

HI Gary
It would'nt allow me to import a contact folder, but I had an old *.wab file so
i deleted my contacts and imported the old .Wab file, now I will rebuilt the
balance of my contacts
Can I save a copy of my contacts in a Wab format or other format that will
import easily if needed.
Thanks again for all your help.

Windows Mail doesn't have the ability to save contacts in .wab
format. You can save them using the .csv format.
