Problem with multiple identities logon issues

I have had VISTA and been using Windows Mail since Feb of last year. I've
had 2 identities set up in my windows mail since that time and have had no
trouble. Last week the Security screen popped up and asked for my password.
I entered my main identity info and continued on. A couple of days later I
realized I was not receiving e-mail on the second identity. I looked into
the accounts and noticed the username was switched to my main identity name.
I changed it back and received all of the outstanding e-mails I had not
received. Everything worked fine again until today. The username window
popped up again today, I entered the info again and went ahead to the Account
window and changed the username on the other account back to the correct one
again. Now it will not save though, and everytime I do it and go back and
hit send receive it pops up the username window and will not accept anything
but the main identity username and password. Then it keeps changing it on
the 2nd identity. I'm going in circles and can't receive e-mail on the
second identity. Please help! Sorry this is lengthy!

Sounds like a non-compatible security program is interfering.
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee and Norton
security programs. Those will need to be uninstalled, NOT just
disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like:
AVG free edition:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff
or
Avast free edition:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.
