Problem with Microsoft Outlook (Not Outlook Express)

I have a problem with Microsoft Outlook (not outlet express). When I first
open MS Outlet, I get the following message:

“Could not open your default email folders. Could not open the item. Try
Again.â€

When I click on OK, another screen open and I get the following message:

“Would you like to open your default file system folder instead?â€

When I click on Yes, another screen comes up with the following message:

“Unknown error Ox540107. Could not open the item. Try again.â€

Then the screen opens to Outlook’s My Computer Page with the following Error:

“Unable to start processing services. Could not open the item. Try Again.â€

This process is repeated over and over. MS Outlook never opens to the email
page.

Outlooks Help menu has an item for Detect and Repair. (also found in
Add-Remove list in control panel, see Office items)
