problem with messenger

my msn messenger 6.2 will not allow me to post msgs or
receive, is taking much longer to connect, and opens, but
will not allow incoming or outgoing messages. can anyone
tell me what is wrong. I have reloaded the program to fix
errors. is it possible that this is a problem with
passport or msn and not my own?

Hi,

As Jonathan Kay has mentioned in numerous posts below, there's currently a
server issue right now and they're working on it. It'll be fixed soon,
hopefully.
