Problem with hardware

I recently had a problem capturing video from my canon
dv. I tried using windv to test the connection and I got
another error. Can anyone help me to fix the hardware
problem? Does anyone have any ideas? I've captured off
of Hi 8 before, but my DV camcorder doesn't seem to get
captured. THanks.
