Problem with embedded documents

hi,

When i open a Powerpoint document any embedded document like an excel
spreadsheet, or an image, appears with a red cross inside a box and i have
to double click on it to have it open.

If i go to another computer it shows ok, so i think it should be an option
in my computer.

Any idea?
