PROBLEM WITH DESKTOP ICONS

i am having a problem viewing my desktop icons, i have
tried going through control panel to appearance and what
not but nothing will show up. I have even tried the
customize desktop option. I read something about active
desktop messing things up but i dont really know what all
that is about. If someone knows anything about this and
can help me out some please respond. Thsnk You, Steven

know how to get them back. Ive tried everything, the only
thing that i did was change the background to a jpeg
image off of a website. I mean i use adaware and i dont
know if deleting registry keys would do it but i could
just use a word of advice. Thanks
