Problem with dell setup

I am working on an 11 year old Dell Optiplex. During boot it goes through the
memory count and then straight into the OS. It never gives me the option to
hit del and enter setup. How do you fix a problem like this? How can I enter
setup? All help appreciated.

Carey, thank you for your reply. I appreciate the info on System Requirements
for Windows XP Operating Systems. The problem I am having is entering my PCs
setup. I need to get into the BIOS. Do you have any suggestions on my
original question? All help appreciated.
 
11 years in people terms is about 450 years old. 11 Years
ago Dell built all kinds of systems and they did not have a
standard. Call Dell and ask them.

Del is a popular key to enter setup, but not at all universal:
